Welcome to the Saints Adam Hawkins, who is our 8th signing this summer. Adam left Welsh League side Ton Pentre before spending the last 3 years in University, maturing into an athletic defender.
Since Adams return from University, he has had a lot of attention from welsh league sides. So we are delighted to see him sign at the ICI Ground this season. Pre season he has impressed with Manager Rhys Llewellyn and the squad, so we are looking forward to seeing him in action when we are allowed to get going.
Adam is an athletic defender who adds depth too our squad, being a versatile player who can play anywhere across the back - makes him a great addition to the squad. He possesses a great attitude to football and always turns up ready to give 110%, with big changes at the club this season it is important that new faces are motivated to give their best for themselves and the club - Adam certainly fits into this description.
When speaking with Adam, he told us how excited he is to get going with his new side.
"From the first training session I could see the club is moving in the right direction, I want to be apart of a team that do things properly from the off. After being invited to train with the Saints, I'm glad I took the opportunity. The facilities are outstanding and the squad is really strong, in terms of my development I feel I am in the right place to progress as a player. I have played with some of the boys before as a youth player so I am looking forward to getting back on the pitch with them"
