We are over the moon to welcome Joshua Evans back to the club, as our first ever Commercial Manager. Josh who was previously at the club in 2019, moved on to fulfil a new role at a higher level. After his time at the Saints, we have been very keen to get Josh back to the club. Josh is a highly determined individual who is motivated to change clubs better than he found them, during his time at the Saints in 2019 he improved the club for the better and we cant wait to see the impact he is going to have this time around.
After seeing the impact Josh had on the Saints in 2019, we couldn't be more happier to have him back at the club. Josh has decided not to be involved with the on-field aspects of football, as he is is keen to move the club forward off the pitch. We spoke with Josh about his return to the Saints:
"I am really happy to be back at the club, I feel like I am in a great place to make a difference and move the club forward as a whole. It is great to be given the opportunity to use my experience on how a club should be structured and run, there is a lot of hard work to be done even though there is no football being played at the minute. My first aims at the club will be looking at creating good relationships with local, regional and national businesses, Creating regular income for the club to be stable as well as efficient and re structuring roles & responsibilities around the club. I am delighted to see my work at the club previously has been continued and improved on, this shows the club is in a great place with Hywel, Dean, Ron, Clancy, Kerry and Rhys - so I cant wait to start and continue this.
The club is in a great place both on and off the field, with such a bright future. Im excited to start and help take it to the next level, we have a 3 year vision that all volunteers agree with and i'm really confident we can achieve this."
Josh highlighted some of his aims in his new role and we can't wait for him to kick on, he plays a big role at the club and is in a great place to grow the club.
Welcome to the Saints Josh.
